The day had arrived.

Treasure House

We closed our doors to the public for the last time at 5 Isaacs Street on Saturday, August 11th.

My last pictures were taken in memory of final days at our little red Victorian home we called ours for 58 years.

The moving vans pulled up Tuesday morning, August 14th at 8:30 a.m. and worked most of the day packing all of our belongings. By late afternoon, three vans had delivered "our treasures" to 520 West Avenue and then the fun began!

There was not an inch of space not covered with boxes and boxes and baskets and baskets.

What had we gotten ourselves into?

But our ladies pulled together and slowly and carefully, with tons of suggestions, laughing, lugging, hanging, decorating....we did it!!!!

Look at our new home! It is gorgeous. It took many hands, hard work, but the look on our ladies' faces and those of our customers said it all.

Yes, it was worth it. We found a new home and are now ready to serve our public and make lots of money for our Norwalk Hospital.

Thank you Carol Kachmarck, for leading us.

Thank you, ladies, for your support and help.
